The Pristine Cascade Mountains
Below are opening photos of Mt.St. Helens letting off steam as she builds a new lava dome. Following Mt.St. Helens are photos of adjacent mountains and the devastated forests through the blast zone to the North. Only now, 30 years later, are signs of new life sprouting amidst the fallen majestic evergreens.

Mt. Rainier is captured in full snow capped glory. Mt. Rainier is not only Washington State's tallest mountain, it’s diametric mass is ominous. I was on a flight, returning from Kansas City, and we circled to the East of Mt. Rainier. I recall people on that flight that had their first glimpse of Rainier. Their gasps were audible. One young lady from Florida shrieked, “My God mommy. Look at how big that mountain is. I can’t believe how big it is”. It truly is a wonder to see.

After scenes from along Stevens Pass we culminate with views of Mt. Baker, Mt. Shuksan, and Mt. Hood.
